[Topic ] Photos Post #1 of 3
Okay … so I have three posts today. I’ll try to post two now and then one later. This post is just to share photos from Friday (which is short). I mentioned (or maybe I didn’t), that Trisha, Diane, her fiancé Flo and I wanted to go to the Plainville Hot Air Balloon festival. We tried. We really did. But almost 2 hours in traffic and no parking lot even near our sight, we gave up and decided to instead go eat somewhere.

We decided to hit up this Pizza/everything else restaurant none of us had been to and it was actually quite delicious. They give complimentary garlic bread which was delicious (and pictured below)—of course, after you eat. I ended up getting a Snickers Tini (martini) and a ceasar chicken salad wrap… it was pretty good but their fries were OMG NOM! Afterward we all went and hung out at Pedro and Ava’s house where we had great conversation and laughs. It was also a non-humid gorgeous night so it really was perfect. Got a couple more shots of the moon, which was still full.

Before all that I tested out my lens on a flower in my mother’s yard, so that’s the first photo (:

In the next post, I’ll share some of my favorite work retreat photos from yesterday and the TONIGHT I’ll share my ‘photo of the day’ from yesterday and today’s photo-of-the-day. When I got home yesterday (after 3 hours of sleep the night before, all day in the sun and a 2 hour work meeting after…) I was so POOPED I immediately fell asleep after I finished uploading the retreat photos. So yeah. :D

Friday’s pics!

[Topic] Photos Post #2 of 3 - Our Retreat
Here are the photos from our retreat. I took a LOT which can be found here at the album—below are just my faves of the bunch. As a reminder from a previous post, we all piled into a boat (pictured below) and took a three hour cruise along the Connecticut River. It was quite a muggy day (which you can see in some photos), but on the river it was just nice with the slight breeze. It was actually a very relaxing and fun trip (and I think 99% of us enjoyed ourselves—there’s always one that complains about something). After the boat ride, we drove back into work (10 minute ride) and had the ‘meeting’ which thankfully was only about 45 minutes and then they let us all go <3. It was a lovely day!
