Here are the photos from our retreat. I took a LOT which can be found here at the album—below are just my faves of the bunch. As a reminder from a previous post, we all piled into a boat (pictured below) and took a three hour cruise along the Connecticut River. It was quite a muggy day (which you can see in some photos), but on the river it was just nice with the slight breeze. It was actually a very relaxing and fun trip (and I think 99% of us enjoyed ourselves—there’s always one that complains about something). After the boat ride, we drove back into work (10 minute ride) and had the ‘meeting’ which thankfully was only about 45 minutes and then they let us all go <3. It was a lovely day!

7. The boat we cruised on. We thought it was tiny, but it actually had a lot of room.

9. Vincent, another fave coworker. Ive mentioned him in the past. He was a POW in the Vietnam war, and lost most of his hearing/sight. Sweet man!

11. My four favorite troublemakers at work (though one is looking ‘away’). I love these gals! <3

14. Part of the old Colt factory building … which was in downtown. My mom now works for Colt in their ‘newer’ (but still old) building.

18. Part of Hartford. I’ve been to that Science Center (cool looking building). It was a lot of fun.

24. This was really up high so I was glad I had my zoom lens … it’s a hawk’s nest! I wish I’d caught a few of them flying around, but no luck ): Still… HUGE!
