I don’t understand. I don’t feel sick. I wasn’t coughing at all yesterday, but the second my head hit that pillow last night, I had the worst coughing fit ever. It lasted for hours and I feel hoarse but shockingly, amazing today. It makes no sense what-so-ever.

It’s November first! I just realized that and the other realization? I haven’t even begun my Christmas shopping. I know some of you are sitting there laughing or shaking your head at my insanity, but for someone who is usually done by now with her Christmas shopping, this is shocking to me! Yes, most years I have finished all my holiday shopping by now … eek!

Ah well …

The other thing I realized. Nanowrimo starts today! I kind of want to participate and write another book, but I really don’t know if I’ll have the time for it with school taking up a majority of my evenings with endless readings and writings :D LOL I MAY do it. Anyone else doing Nano this year?! Maybe I’ll do it without officially tracking it on the Nano website. This way, if I don’t finish… it’s all good, and even if I do finish, it’s more for me than the site either way :D

Who wants to write?! :D How about we make it a different type of challenge? Instead of working on a book for thirty days, we simply “write” for thirty days. It can be poems, short stories, a book, comics, etc … and we post a little each day? :D Just a thought! I can even post daily themes if people are interested (:

LET-ME-KNOW!

Class last night was good. We had a pop-quiz, but if people took notes last class, they passed with flying colors. The sad part is that over half the class didn’t show up, so they totally missed out on that EZ one. AND, if we participated in discussion it was ‘extra credit’…which makes me happy. I’ll take all I can get :D

I was kind of surprised only one kid showed up dressed up for Halloween lol. He was dressed as Obi Wan from Star Wars, and surprisingly, he did a good job of pulling it off. At work, we all agreed it would be fun to dress up, so next year we’ll probably bring back the dressing up/small parties. The “spandex” guy is gone, and we’ve told that horror story enough times that I don’t think anyone would try it LOL

Last night I also recruited one new person into the guild last night and he is hilarious. He’s already a hit it off with everyone else in the guild lol. He has odd working hours though, so he said he’s not on most weekends (except late Sunday’s) … and a few days a week. I told him not to worry, that we weren’t the kind of guild that tracked activity LOL I love meeting new people that can be funny and outgoing and really bring lighthearted discussions to the table :D

What makes me happiest is that the guild leveled 3.5 levels in under a week. We had just hit 12 when I started recruiting and we’re halfway to 16 now :D

Going to go enjoy some left over candy people brought in from last night (: Happy Friday, all!
