Had a pretty busy weekend, which is nice. The added hour this weekend also improved my mood greatly on Sunday when I scrambled to write my paper that’s due tomorrow (:

Friday night I played a lot of World of Warcraft. I started my first ever male character because I wanted a male panda. If anyone plays WoW, you know how AWESOME the male panda dance is. Yes, I made a toon just to watch him dance. Then, I ended up finding him a really sexy top. I had to take a screen shot because he looked so damn sexy in it. Saturday I got up early to run some guildies through dungeons to help them level a little faster. That was fun (: Also did some farming for stuff for the guild bank. Then, Saturday night my parents wanted to take me out for my birthday. Yes, my birthday was over a month and a half ago. We didn’t go out because my brother was “cutting” for his muscle competition (basically restricting his diet massively to lose weight and define his muscles). So, he didn’t eat out at all.

So yes, we went out for my birthday. I wanted sushi, so it worked out (: We went to Sakura Garden again and it was delicious. It was the first time we’ve hung out as a ‘family’ as a whole in quite some time. It’s kind of weird how it just happened … we kind of all have our separate lives now, and it seems to have just happened, but it’s been going on for a while. We still love each other of course, but life grows and expands to other spheres.

Soon my brother’s house will be done and he’ll be moving in there. I doubt I’ll see him that much after that. As it is I really only see him in the mornings when we both get ready for work. He typically works till 8pm during the week, and then goes to his house to work on it. So by the time he gets home I’m sleeping or he’s too tired to chat. Once he moves, I’ll probably only really see him when he does things at his house or we do stuff at home.

My other bro is also looking at houses already, which he and Trisha will probably buy and move into before he pops the question to her. Soon it will be just my parents and I (: I think I am handling this a lot better than my mom :D LOL She’s all weepy my other bro will be out soon. Life … it’s so werid.

Anywho … Sunday I spent mostly working on picking out quotes from the book for my paper and setting up the framework. I also played some World of Warcraft and Medal of Honor, but mostly I just sat around watching movies. I wasn’t in a gaming mood, and that was probably due to the paper LOL.

But it’s written now, and I just have to insert the quotes when I get home …and I have to narrow them down even more because I wrote a lot lol… and it can’t be more than 5 pages (and he wants at least 8 quotes and mine is already 4.5 pages without the quotes). I even had my friend proof it for any grammar errors because I get carried away and just ramble.

And Wtf?
And after writing all of that, I just found out that my college is actually on lockdown right now. So far they’re saying there’s been no active shooting and I hope it stays that way.

I can’t stand how stupid some kids are though. They’re telling people to stay away from the windows, and what do we see in a lot of the photos? Kids pressed up against the windows at their dorms. Really people?!

And this kid is probably already mixed in with the other kids. With today’s age, and tweets and alerts, he’s bound to have read they’re looking for him and ditched his gun/sword by now and just sitting around with the others. Sigh. Just glad no one has been hurt … What kind of world are we living in man? I don’t get it.

Glad I do not have class tonight … how scary would that be? I’d be flipping out. AND I have a meeting with my advisor tomorrow before class. So glad it’s tomorrow and not today.

Connecticut needs to stop being in the news … like seriously. We made it onto CNN’s main page. :/
