Happy TGIF (:  

I am so happy it is Friday. I know we just got back from being out for two weeks, but that’s what makes it tougher. UGH.

I was almost glad I had nothing to do this weekend, but then I remembered I do have Ava’s baby shower. I don’t think I wrote that she’s pregnant and the baby is due in March. I am very happy for her and Pedro (:  I think they’ll make a beautiful baby. It’s going to be a boy and I pray it’s healthy.  

I’ve been asked to take photos at the shower, so we’ll see how those come out. I hope the lighting at the restaurant they rented is nice or else I’ll be annoyed, ha-ha. Though my camera does have a flash, I’d rather not use it.

So yeah, I have that on Sunday, but otherwise I am free this weekend. Which means time for lots of World of Warcraft achievements *isn’t obsessed*. 

We got a light dusting of snow this morning (probably two inches). I live in New England … people here should be used to the snow, but of course this morning was a nightmare getting in. It wasn’t even bad out and most of the roads were clear. I don’t get it.  

A friend at work has gotten me a little addicted to mocha. She buys the hot chocolate instant packs and mixes it with her coffee. Well, she let me have two of the hot chocolate packs on Monday that I mixed with my coffee this week and NOM. I may have to get my own stash of hot chocolate lol (I have lots of coffee).   

Things are actually pretty good right now (: I am meeting with Jill on Monday, but I haven’t done the “homework” she’s assigned. I’ll have to do that sometime this weekend, ha. I am ever the procrastinator.  

Classes also start on Tuesday, which I can’t believe. My 7 books (between the two classes) cost almost $400 and none of the books are over 250 pages. It’s so ridiculous lol. I am both excited and daunted by classes starting. I am always excited in the beginning but by week 3-4 I can’t wait for it to all to end, ha-ha!   

At work, classes start the following week, so things have been busy here with the influx of registrations and new student admits. Which is good, busy is good. I think our enrollments are still down, but that’s not too surprising. We were really under budget in the fall so they’re hoping to make up this semester, but I don’t think it will happen. Things are just bad everywhere as far as the economy goes, really.  

Anywho. I have to make some packets for mailings which will hopefully take up the next couple of ours lol. So glad I leave at 2pm on Tuesdays (though with my new school schedule, it’ll be 2:30pm starting next week, which is still pretty sweet :D).

I’ve decided to just stop using my tags except the ones for photos and writing. I rarely look up the others lol and those two subjects are usually what I’m searching out when I do need to find something (:
